How to Help

Ways to Support Khaleesi

Money helps most directly, but sharing her story is just as valuable — most donors on any fundraiser hear about it from someone they know.

For the Family

Medical Transport Resources

If arranging transport to Florida becomes necessary, these are worth looking into alongside the hospital's own case management team, who can often move fastest through insurance.

Hospital Case Management

The fastest path is usually an insurance- or Medicaid-authorized medical transport, arranged through the treating hospital's case manager or social worker once a physician documents medical necessity.

Mercy Medical Angels

Coordinates free or reduced-cost medical flights for patients who are medically stable and able to sit upright. mercymedical.org →

Air Care Alliance

A directory connecting families to volunteer-pilot charitable flight organizations by region. aircarealliance.org →

Ronald McDonald House

If care ends up being in the Tampa area, worth asking the hospital social worker about free or low-cost family lodging nearby during treatment.

This site is maintained by Khaleesi's family and close circle. It is separate from, and a companion to, her official GoFundMe campaign.
